Cincinnati Reds vs. Washington Nationals @ Great American Ballpark at 7:10 PM
Friday night is packed full of promotions when the Reds get set to play the Nationals. From before opening pitch, “Sam” the Bald Eagle from the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden will perform a flight from the roof of the Cincinnati Bell Technology Pavilion in center field to the pitcher’s mound during the singing of the national anthem. After the game fans can enjoy a post-game fireworks show featuring a live concert by the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, starting approximately 15 minutes after the end of the game.
Macy’s Music Festival: Robin Thicke, Chaka Khan, and Charlie Wilson @ Paul Brown Stadium at 7:30 PM
Originally called the Ohio Valley Jazz Festival when it was first held in 1962, the Macy’s Music Festival has grown and evolved into a spectacular two-day event on Cincinnati’s riverfront. Starting out as an all-jazz concert, it has evolved and grown into a two-day festival featuring great music from the hottest stars in R&B, jazz, soul, and hip-hop, as well as up and coming artists.
On Friday, ticket holders will get to see such acts as After 7, K Michelle, Chaka Khan, and that’s not all. The first night is headlined by performers Charlie Wilson and Robin Thicke. Don’t miss the action!
John Fogerty @ Riverbend at 8PM
The lead singer and guitarist from the world-famous band Creedence Clearwater Revival is out on his solo tour, which will hit Cincinnati’s Riverbend on Friday night! Don’t miss the man Rolling Stone voted as the 40th best guitarist and 72nd best singers of all time.
He’ll be playing hits like “Down On The Corner,” “Have You Seen The Rain,” “Looking Out The Back Door,” and of course “Fortunate Son.”

Disney Junior Live is coming to US Bank arena and you have the chance to watch Mickey and Minnie on this never-before-seen live show featuring with your favorite characters from Disney Junior’s hit series, Sofia the First and Jake and the Never Land Pirates. Get swept away in the excitement as Sofia and family prepare for a royal celebration that helps us all learn the true meaning of being a princess – including a very special appearance from Cinderella.

The second and last day of the Macy’s Music Festival will feature more amazing R&B acts! Don’t miss the festival that by 2000 was the largest of its kind in the United States, drawing more than 50,000 people annually from all across the country.
