6. Cincy Brew Ha Ha @ Sawyer Point, All weekend long
What’s better then laughter and good beer? How about some of the best live comedy acts in the country paired with the best beer in the country! This is the 8th year of the festival which is promoted as “America’s Largest Beer & Comedy Festival.” The festival will have more than a hundred beers to select from, and over fifty comedians with headliners like the Sklar Brothers and David Alan Grier. Beers range from local favorites like Madtree, Christian Moerlein, and Mt. Carmel, to larger microbrews like Dogfish Head, Summit, Great Lakes, and many, many more. 5. Dinner for a Cause @ Sleepy Bee Cafe in Oakley Saturday at 6:30 PM
The newest and most popular breakfasts spots in Oakley is hosting a worthy cause and opening a dinner menu with special guests for a great cause. The event is a fundraiser to benefit the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati. Attendees pay $130 to dine at Sleepy Bee and support the YWCA, and they will get to enjoy food from featured chefs: Julie Francis, Renee Schuler, Frances Kroner, Suzanne Church, Latoya Bridgeman, Suzy DeYoung, Rachel Grubbs DeRocher, and Shalini Latour.
4. Jesse McCartney @ Bogarts Saturday 6:30 PM
Jesse McCartney is making a stop in Cincy this weekend fresh off his latest album release, Technicolor, which dropped in July. McCartney burst on to the scene a decade ago with his platinum selling record, Beautiful Soul, and has since been working on a thriving acting and singing career. This summer he has been on tour with the Backstreet Boys and DJ Pauly D for the “In A World Like This Tour.”
3. Taste of Blue Ash, All Weekend Long
The city of Blue Ash has carved themselves a great reputation as having one of the best “Tastes” within the Greater Cincinnati Area. With amazing food, great activities for all ages, and some truly great live acts the Taste of Blue Ash has become a must-attend event. 2. Reds vs. Atlanta Braves
The Reds really need all the support they can get right now. Currently they are 10.5 games back in the NL Central race. Chances may seem bleak, but it doesn’t mean our local team is out of it! We can still help out! This weekend as all summer weekends have had, will feature Firework Fridays. There will also be a bobblehead giveaway on Saturday commemorating the 2015 All-Star game that will be played at Great American next year. Don’t miss it!
1. Luke Bryan @ Riverbend Saturday and Sunday Night
Luke Bryan is coming to Riverbend for not just one, but TWO shows this weekend! He’s not coming alone either, with special guests Lee Brice and Cole Swindell coming along for the “That’s My Kind of Night Tour.” Riverbend was hoping to be hosting the Kings of Leon this weekend, but due to an unfortunate accident with drummer Nathan Followill the Kings has to cancel their stop in Cincy. Luke Bryan to the rescue!
Bryan will be playing songs like: “That’s My Kind of Night,” “Do I,” “This Is How We Roll,” “Drunk On You,” and “Country Girl.”
