CINCINNATI – The Xavier University Athletic Department is excited to announce its recent partnership with Tixers, an online platform that unlocks additional value for both season ticket holders and avid fans, for the 2014-15 men’s basketball season.
Tixers allows ticket holders to quickly trade in tickets for up-front credit. The credit can then be used towards other Xavier tickets or any other future event, including sports, concerts, and theatre productions throughout the country.
Beginning with Xavier’s first regular season home game on November 14, fans will be able to receive an instant credit value for upcoming game tickets they will not use personally. This provides fans a new, guaranteed method for receiving tangible value for tickets purchased while also reducing the time and effort involved. The partnership will be especially valuable for current and prospective Xavier season ticket or mini pack owners, including individuals and businesses.
To exchange a ticket, fans visit Tixers.com, select the game, and provide the seating information listed on the ticket. Once the ticket has been transferred, a credit value based upon the demand of the ticket is immediately disbursed to the fan’s personal Tixers account.

This is an innovative new platform which will provide our best customers more flexibility if they cannot attend a game. We hear frequently that some people don’t have the time to commit to every game in a package. We believe this minimizes the risk and creatively removes that obstacle.”

Starting this November, Xavier basketball season ticket holders will be encouraged to use our site for games they cannot attend which Xavier views as a win-win for current season ticket holders, and potential ones that might be on the fence.
One of the biggest qualms an individual faces before becoming a season ticket holder of any sport is the ability to attend all the games. Is it worth paying all this money at the potential risk maybe missing a few games? For most of you who are familiar with Tixers, flexibility is something we strive to give our users. Fortunately, thanks to the hard work of the Tixers team, we were able to demonstrate that to Xavier’s Athletic Dept. who saw the value Tixers can bring.
