The NBA season kicks off tonight and with that it means a clean slate for all teams. No losing records or winning streaks. No conference leaders or league doormats. Everyone has the same record for the one and only time of the season. That’s not to say that teams like the Cavaliers and Spurs are on the same level as the 76ers and Lakers. Some teams expect to be in the Finals at the end of the season, while others would be just fine getting as many ping-pong balls as possible for next years Lottery Draft. But what about every team in-between? And just because a team is in a race for a championship does that necessarily mean they have the highest ticket prices?
We answer both those questions right here. Combining ESPN’s Power Rankings and SeatGeek‘s Ticket Data we show you, the consumer, just where your team stacks up and how much it cost to go to a home game. We’ll be updating this weekly, so be sure to check back to see how ticket prices are fluctuating and how high your team is in the power rankings.
